MISSION STATEMENT
The Research and School Internal Review Directorate (RSIRD) strives to act as the driving force behind the Ministry’s initiative for research-informed policy and practice.
RSIRD also strives to assist colleges and schools in developing their capacity to become communities of reflexive practice, as part of a social process that seeks to foster a collective learning culture, by virtue of which members of a community are enabled to think critically, reflect on their actions, and consider alternative ways of thinking and doing.
VISION STATEMENT
The Research and School Internal Review Directorate (RSIRD) aspires to empower departments, directorates, institutions and entities within the Ministry by enriching their knowledge base through high quality research. RSIRD also aspires to assist colleges and schools in their ongoing quest to deliver improved educational outcomes and experience for all learners within the context of national curriculum policies and legislation.
