MISSION STATEMENT

By taking ownership of 19 different areas of the National Curriculum through the Early Years, Languages and Humanities subjects taught within compulsory education, this Directorate strives to ensure the smooth-running of the various Units and depends on the subject expertise of all 28 Education Officers to support State, Church and Independent schools in an equitable manner.

VISION STATEMENT

In leading and managing the Early Years, Languages and the Humanities Learning and Assessment Programs, DELH is committed to instil new knowledge, improved skills and positive support among all educators for these areas of the curriculum and among all learners up to 16 years of age through the most meaningful and relevant experience in the classroom and beyond.

  • Maintain and enhance the learning and assessment experience of every individual learner by committing to the necessary training to all educators;
