MISSION STATEMENT

The Wellbeing Directorate promotes the wellbeing of learners, to help them lead a meaningful life. The services offered by the Wellbeing Directorate complement those of other Directorates and we help our learners become resilient and confident that they can, and will, reach their goals and potential.

Our mission is to intervene as necessary to provide the necessary tools and skills to learners to empower them, address critical challenges related to safety, mental health, bullying, substance abuse, but also career planning. We listen to our learners and together, we strive to build a supportive network so that every learner thrives academically, socially, and emotionally.

To prepare every learner overcome challenges, reach their full potential, and positively contribute to society through preventive measures, personalised interventions, and a commitment to excellence.
