Survey on Funding for Further Education

Reference Number: MEDE040516, Press Release Issue Date: May 04, 2016

Ernst and Young has been commissioned by the Planning and Priorities Coordination Division (PPCD) within the Ministry for European Affairs and Electoral Manifesto (MEAIM) to carry out an assessment on the possible creation/usage of a financial instrument under Operational Programme II - Investing in human capital to create more opportunities and promote the wellbeing of society co-financed through the European Social Fund 2014-2020.  The study intends to determine whether existing financial instruments (e.g. scholarship grants) are sufficient to meet student demand for further study and if not, whether an additional financial instrument needs to be introduced. Such a new financial instrument will complement grants and scholarship schemes available in Malta, which will continue to remain available and applicable.

Information on student and/or potential (future) students needs is being gathered through an on-line survey which you are being invited to participate in by clicking on

The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete and should be filled in by people aged 16 years and over.
