The Malta Vocational Skills Week – VET as a First Option, will serve as information and general awareness to the public whilst focusing on the advantages of VET as the first option for students. As part of the activities, an open day will be held at the Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS) on Tuesday 6^thDecember 2016. A seminar for teachers of Vocational SEC subjects at Malta College for Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) and ITS will be held on Wednesday 7^th December. On Friday 9^th December a National Conference will be held at Intercontinental, St Julians. The conference is set to focus on VET in compulsory education, further and higher education, and the labour market.
