The European Commission is organising the European Vocational Skills Week – Discover your Talent! from 5 to 9 December 2016 with events in Brussels and in parallel with activities in EU member states at national, regional and local levels.
The last day of the VET Skills Week will bring together all those interested and working in making VET a first option to young people and adults.
The main objective of this National Conference is to accompany the main stakeholders to share their views and discuss how to establish VET a first choice for learners. It will also provide a forum were education providers and employers can discuss further the bridging of education and employment as regards skills. Furthermore a Skills Village will be held at the same venue of the National Conference in order to showcase vocational programmes and projects by students of VET institutions and employment opportunities.
