Protection of the Whistleblower Act

CHAPTER 527 OF THE LAWS OF LAWS
PROTECTION OF THE WHISTLEBLOWER ACT
To make provision for procedures in terms of which employees in both the private sector and the public administration may disclose information regarding improper practices by their employers or other employees in the employ of their employers and to protect employees who make said disclosures from detrimental action.

A Government official has been appointed from the level of Assistant Director or above within every Government Ministry to serve as a Whistleblowing Officer detailed to receive reports. Another high ranking Civil Servant from within the Cabinet Office at the Auberge of Castille has been entrusted with the responsibility of serving as External Whistleblowing Officer who will receive all the reports according to the law.
